August planning

Super excited about my knitting right now. I’m knitting Trail by MSKIknits and Cladonia by Kristen Kapur and trying to finish a sock. Hoping to get those three done and cast on Canyon by MSKIKnits. Also want to finish my current book “Go Set a Watchman” by Harper Lee and read “The Girl on the Train ” by Paula Hawkins.
Next week going to take my first yoga class with a friend.

Start date for losing 20 pounds 8/1 end date 10/1.

What’s on your August list?

Happy knitting

Happy knitting!

Two books

I enjoyed the setting and visual descriptions. I might’ve read too many romances but it felt like I’ve read the story before.
This book! Loved! First chapter is a KILLER! But hold on it is such a wonderful story mixed with inspiring. I read it in 12 hours, I should’ve read a long time ago!

Enough! Again

About 20 years ago after my daughter was born I gained 50 pounds. I weighted 132 up to the time I got pregnant, after I gave birth I went up to 142. I said that’s enough and bought 5 day miracle or something to that tune.During that summer I dieted and exercised 30 pounds off. Now I’m up to 162 pounds and ready to focus on myself again!

You have a story. Meet others that do too!

Trail progress

The more I work on this beautiful tank the more I can’t wait to wear it. The yarn is lovely and I couldn’t be more happy with the colors I choose. When I received the yarn and started I had reservations about the combo, not enough contrast. I’m almost to the split for the front and back and have gone back to monogamy! I’m picturing myself wearing it with capris with a cami under it. Ordering yarn for next tank this week.

Happy Knitting!
